Job Summary:
- Perform a wide variety of duties specific to handling incoming and outgoing customer work through estimating and scheduling customer jobs.
- Perform a wide variety of duties specific to handling customer sales through processing quotations and sales orders.
- Perform a wide variety of duties specific to incoming and outgoing vendor shipment and warehouse maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist walk in customers, pull orders, and load customer product.
- Communicate effectively with customers through incoming calls or emails to meet their requirements, while following company guidelines.
- Work harmoniously with other employees, giving assistance necessary to satisfy customer’s needs.
- Schedule, track, and coordinate repair processes among departments to ensure timely completion of jobs and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with customers, relative to estimating and delivery of jobs for repair.
- Contact vendors to establish price and availability of replacement parts and/or repair items for customer jobs. Complete purchasing activities via purchase orders.
- Review and maintaining correct Branch physical inventory on a consistent basis.
- Analyze and maintain open order and open quotes reports on a weekly basis.
- Process new product sales, receiving, invoicing, and credits.
- Perform a wide variety of duties related to timely ordering of stock and non-stock products and inter-departmental transfer of items for the Company.
- Monitor all open purchased orders and bring to resolution any outstanding issues.
- Assist in handling purchasing of all shop equipment and supplies. (Such as paint, rewind, bolts, materials, etc.)
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.
Qualifications: Preferred minimum level of education: high school diploma. Some background in general mechanics, warehousing, computer literacy and phone sales are desirable, though not essential.
Special Skills: Ability to work well with others under pressure and in a team situation. Good customer and communication skills.

Job Summary:
The Industrial Field Service Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating field service activities related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to build, manage, and lead a team of field service technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Supervision:
- Build, lead and manage a team of field service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Schedule and allocate tasks to team members based on skill set and project requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
2. Service Operations:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, & troubleshooting of customers industrial equipment.
- Ensure all service activities are conducted in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for field service operations.
- Perform and supervise tasks related to alignment, balancing, and vibration analysis to ensure optimal equipment performance.
3. Customer Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding field service issues and inquiries, including equipment malfunctions, service scheduling, and emergency services.
- Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address and resolve client complaints and service-related issues promptly, ensuring effective communication and solutions.
4. Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support and expertise to field service technicians, customers, & peers.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Conduct technical training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Implement and manage vibration monitoring routes to detect and diagnose equipment issues proactively.
5. Project Management:
- Plan and oversee field service projects from initiation to completion.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, service reports, and inventory logs.
- Prepare and present regular reports on field service performance and metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service or industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using field service management software and tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications but not required:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or related field.
- Experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
- Experience with alignment, balancing, and vibration analysis.
Working Conditions:
- Regular travel to client sites is required.
