The Electro-Mechanical Technician will inspect and repair various types of rotating equipment, such as Electric Motors, Pumps, Gearboxes, and Generators. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve are a must. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be the disassembly, inspection, repair, & assembly of rotating equipment.
- Work hours are day shift with some potential overtime.
- Become a craftsman of a unique trade. We will train!
- We provide detailed quality control procedures.
- Must love working with your hands.
- Work on something different every day.

Requirements
Experience Preferred: High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not necessary. Candidate should like to work with hands and have a desire to learn about mechanical equipment. Experience in electrical or mechanical repair is a definite plus. Ability to understand mechanical measurements & use of various mechanical measurement tools is preferred, but not required, we will train.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand market share within the electric motor systems sales and service industry. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will sell and market our company’s products and services to new and existing customers within the Midwest region.
Work Performed:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to increase sales and service revenue for electric motor systems, including motors, drives, and associated equipment.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and manufacturing sectors.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform business strategies.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage costs by maintaining accurate records of travel, mileage, and sales-related expenses.
- Work with VP of Sales to establish the yearly sales budget and goals for the assigned territory.
- Continually work to develop sales skills to be successful in this position.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the electric motor systems or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of electric motors, drives, controls, and maintenance services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Northwest Electric, LLC. is a 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year sales and service operation. With that in mind, all employees are required to provide the company with an effective means of communicating with them, when necessary, on an after-hours basis. Contact with our customers after normal business hours is considered an essential function of this position.
